About

The first eight episodes of the Gospel of Mark light up the character of Christ, describing who He is and what His nature and character are. The remaining eight episodes elaborate on what He had done, finished, or accomplished being God-Man.

By this study, there is only one aim: to equip ourselves to be disciples who make disciples to make disciples. We want to approach our neighborhoods filled with new faces of diverse cultures and faiths. We long to build bridges of hope for sharing the gospel message with boldness – prevailing over fear and coming out of our comfort zones. We want to approach them primarily with Christly love, arming us with considerate insight, tact, and reason for the Savior’s sake.

His Lordship has been proven by His nature, character, and principles that He taught, orchestrated, and showed by His phenomenal lifestyle. He provides a firm foundation and makes a wretched man’s position justifiable in God’s sight by performing outstanding and exceptional work. He consummated what He started skillfully! He achieved righteousness for sinners of the world by shedding His blood, dying, and rising for their sins.

Enjoy reading and studying. And be ready to approach your neighborhoods and Muslim friends to start meaningful conversations with deep confidence in your hearts!

In his commentary on the first eight chapters of the Gospel of Mark you will encounter Dr. Jamil Sadiq using some of the 99 most sacred names of Allah as evidence that Jesus Christ is the Isa Al-Masih. He shows that Ibn-e-Allah is the Son of God, that Al-Ghafur is the One who forgives sins since He is the Lord of the Law. Allah presents Himself as Al-Wadud who is seeking to have a loving relationship with His creation. Since Allah is Al-Muqtadir, He has power over the demonic forces because He is Al-Hayy the Giver of Life itself. Not only does He give life, but He is Al-Razzaq, the Sustainer and Provider for those who are hungry to know Him. There is no one else who is like Him since He is Al-Qadoos, The Holy One. Each of these qualities/characteristics present Him as Al-Masih--the Christ. This is a book of commentary on the Gospel of Mark, and also a primer on understanding some of the basic concept of Islam.

Great commentary it gave me a better understanding of how to witness to our Muslim brothers and sisters.

ur Sunday school class at church is currently reading and studying this book and, as a bonus, being taught by Dr. Sadiq. The book is very easy to understand and use along with the book of Mark to not only gain a better understanding of the Muslim faith in order to witness to Muslims about the true and saving grace of Jesus Christ, but also can be used in witnessing to any unbeliever. Dr. Sadiq presents a loving approach in dealing with a group of people who so desperately need the love, compassion, forgiveness, and eternal gift of life that only the one true God of the Bible can give.

This is a study that a Christian can use to clearly show his or her Muslim friend through the gospel of Mark that Jesus is much more than a prophet. It provides a means to demonstrate Christ's servant's heart and that Christ's very works display His divine attributes in the form of a human servant. It is an excellent vehicle to communicate to your Muslim friend that Jesus Christ is both the Son of Man and the Son of God (God Himself in human form). What a wonderful tool for the Christian community.

This is a very good primer on how to tell people of other faiths the differences about Christian perceptions of Jesus' saving grace, his power to forgive, his authority, and that he is God. The book points out the cultural and embedded differences between faiths. Very important work.
